Another favourite of ours...

Paul Cézanne’s famous paintings of peasant card players have long been considered to be among his most iconic and powerful works.  Shown at the Courthauld Institute in early 2011, and now on show at the Met in NY, Richard Edward were honoured to be asked to produce a set of souvenier playing cards containing the card player series of paintings.
 
 
The playing cards were on sale in the gallery gift shop, and we're told they were in hot demand....
